What do I need to get up and running?

You’ll need an internet connection and preferably a wireless router. We will take care of everything else.

Will anyone else be able to view my camera footage?

No, access is password protected for your peace of mind.

Will bizcam employees have access to my footage?

No, bizcam can access your cameras for maintenance purposes but are not legally permitted to view video footage. We will only access your camera settings when explicitly asked to by you in response to a support call. In addition, you can opt out of remote support and set your own passwords to restrict all access but your own.

Do I need a license to have CCTV installed?

You need a license if you intend to cover public areas. If your installation is in your own premises then you do not. You will, however,  need to comply with the CCTV code of conduct under UK law. Bizcam will advise you of your obligations in relation to this following installation.

Can I have more than 1 camera installed?

Yes. There is no restriction on the number of cameras that can be installed.
